Ever Wanted to Eat A Whole Pan of Brownies?

Did you ever make brownies according to the package, then get dissappointed that an itty bitty 1 inch piece is 150 calories? Who could honestly eat that little and be satisfied, especially when that piece is loaded with sugar and no protein?

I have been making these 40 calorie brownies for years now, and I ESPECIALLY love to make them this time of year to help me stay on track with my fitness goals. When you are bombarded with the dozen doughnuts at work, the Moose Munch at the party, the Thanksgiving pies, the Christmas chocolates and everything in between, use these brownies as a tool to treat yourself without feeling deprived. Each brownie out of 9 servings has 40 calories, 4 grams of filling protein, 1 gram of fat, 3 grams of carbs and 1 gram of fiber, so these brownies are keto friendly as well. So you can actually eat the whole pan for 360 calories!

The trick to making these brownies dense and rich is to use good quality cocoa powder, creamy Greek yogurt, and egg whites whipped into a merengue before folding in the rest of the ingredients. Do not over mix these brownies, and do not use the egg white liquid from the store, as it won’t whip up as effectively.
