Hello Dear FITME Community,
I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for subscribing to my YouTube channel as well as here to my blog! Now our community has surpassed 50,000 subscribers, and I don’t take a single one of you for granted. What started as a simple PDF documenting the recipes of my family has turned into an international community of open minded people gathering to learn about middle eastern food and culture. I am always impressed with the countless pictures many of you have sent me recreating the dishes out of the cookbook, or your kind comments about this blog and channel and how it has helped you in a myriad of ways. To celebrate with viewers, I did a live cooking demo with Chef Russell Patient, an outstanding vegan chef that has inspired me so much I included him in my cookbook. I also did a live show from the California apocalypse I call home. I am not a redhead, but the red skies above my literally gave me an orange haze. Yet I had so much fun interacting with many of you that it helped me forget for an hour about the downright depressing ash and smoky air hovering around me, so thank you!
